You'll need to remap a pedal to call up an amp preset.
#AMPLITUBE 3 PRESETS FOLDER PC#
In order to open an Amplitube preset from inside of Ableton you're going to need to send a PC (program change). All of the pedals are already assigned from the sysex. Now you're going to have to change some settings on your FCB1010. Route the MIDI out of the blank MIDI track to the audio track containing amplitude. If you can't see it in your drop down list make sure that your FCB1010 MIDI interface in Ableton Preferences has Track turned on. Select MIDI in from your FCB1010 on the empty MIDI track. To do this you need an empty MIDI track inside of Ableton and an audio track with Amplitube loaded into it. This method requires no MIDI mapping Ableton. The downside to this is THERE IS A DELAY WHILE THE PRESET IS LOADED. This solution allows you to run one instance of Amplitube and you can call up the desired presets with the FCB1010 from inside Ableton. One solution will recall the amp presets from Amplitube. So now that you have your FCB1010 set up using iFCB (on the Mac) and it is emulating a Mackie Control device you want to control Amplitube from within Ableton. Yes, I did the Riverdance, but after paying the $20 for iFCB I'd say it is EASILY worth it. If you haven't done this, then do it because it makes everything 1,000 times easier. So, my FCB1010 is using the Mackie Control emulation. I started setting things up earlier this week and it's taken me a few days of pretty intense effort to finally get a set up that works for me.īased on everything I've read online and the info from Jasthemusicman I downloaded iFCB and used the provided Live Setup sysex. I know this is an old thread, but hopefully it will help someone else out there who needs to use the FCB1010 to control Amplitube presets from within Live using the pedal board. I can report that I have success!!! Thanks to this thread and other resources on the web.īecause I've gotten so much help from this board and threads on setting up my FCB1010 I wanted to post to this thread with my results. I've been wanting to get my FCB1010 to control different Amplitube presets from WITHIN Ableton. I've been working on getting my FCB1010 setup for live performances and ran across this thread (and several others). Even some alternative to change these presets. Well, would be great to read something about it. I don't know, maybe Ableton can't "read" some MIDI CC (coming from FCB1010) to get some signals into Amplitube or whatelse. But, I'd love if I could work with Ableton instead. I'm assuming it's MIDI CC related, cause when I've hosted Amplitube 3 into REAPER, it worked like native/standalone and got the presets changed no problem. ure=relmfu) we can see FCB1010 working with Amplitube. The expressions pedals and some footswtich has worked VERY fine. Amplitube 3 has MIDI integration with MIDI CC, and what I've did to get my FCB1010 controls into there is creating an Audio track (to the VST and audio IN) and a MIDI track (to receive the signals and send to the Audio track). The point: I need to change Amplitube 3 presets, since it's hosted in Ableton Live. If you delete an unwanted folder, You may not be able to bring it back.I've done some search to find my way about it, but it's getting a little bit complicated. NOTE: : Be shore of the folders, files or FX's your deleting, are the once you made and want to delete If you do, IT WILL RESCAN and the process will take longer. NOTE: Do not click Refresh till you finish removing ALL the once you don't want To finalize, once you finish deleting the once you do not want or need any more. you will see the FXħ) When you find the FX you want to deleteĨ) Right click on it, in the Drop down box click Delete.ĩ) IF you don't see Delete, Click on "Show in Explorer"ġ0) another Box will open and you will see the list in explorer, and delete the once you no longer want. So I will explain slowly, for people like myself.ġ) Go to the browser Tab, It is to the bottom right side of your screen (Monitor) where it have your EDIT and MIX tab, If not open, Click on BROWSER, once its openĢ) Look to the very top of your open browser box, you will see where it say, START - SONG and PROJECT, Below that is the little house Icon (Home) Next to it, you will see where it say INSTRUMENT and fallow by EFFECTSĤ) You will see FX CHAINS, bellow you will see, all the FX Chain foldersĥ) Depending on where you saved your Custom FX ChainĦ) Go to that folder and Click on it. I seen lots of answer, but none was helping to much, I finally realize how is done Hi every one, I'm new to this, however I had this same problem about deleting unused FX Chain
